Welcome to SquareDonations, a SaaS developed and owned by Greengo Development Ltd (“Greengo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales (Company No: 14477597) with its registered office at 85 Great Portland Street, First Floor, London, United Kingdom, W1W 7LT.

By using SquareDonations, you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions, which, together with our Privacy Policy, govern your use of the SquareDonations.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use SquareDonations.

1. General Terms

1.1 Ownership and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions are a legally binding agreement between you and Greengo Development Ltd. By installing or using SquareDonations, you confirm that you accept these terms.

1.2 Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Any changes take effect when posted on our website. Continued use of SquareDonations after updates means you accept the revised terms.

2. Scope of Services

2.1 Functionality

SquareDonations integrates with your website to enable donation features, including the collection and processing of donor information.

2.2 Third-Party Services

SquareDonations may connect with services such as Stripe, Mailchimp, or Zapier. These services are independent of Greengo Development Ltd, and their use is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for how third parties process your data.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when using SquareDonations and ensure donor data is correctly processed.

3.2 Legal Compliance

You are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including data protection (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and fundraising rules in your jurisdiction.

3.3 Prohibited Uses

You must not use SquareDonations for unlawful activities, fraud, or actions that interfere with system security or operations.

4. Payment and Fees

4.1 Transaction Fees

SquareDonations charges a 1.75% platform fee on each donation transaction processed through the software. Stripe’s standard processing fees are charged separately and are subject to Stripe’s terms.

4.2 Add-ons and Extras

Optional add-ons or integrations may carry additional charges, which will be clearly communicated before purchase.

4.3 Enterprise Agreements

Custom pricing and terms for enterprise customers may be agreed separately in a written contract with Greengo Development Ltd. In the event of conflict, the enterprise agreement prevails.

4.4 No Refunds

All fees and charges are final and non-refundable, regardless of the number or volume of donations received.

5. Termination

5.1 By You

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at info@squaredonations.com
. Upon cancellation, donor data will be deleted on request unless retention is legally required.

5.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your use of SquareDonations if you breach these Terms or misuse the service.

6. Data Privacy

6.1 Collection

We collect and process personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

6.2 Third-Party Transfers

If you enable integrations (e.g., Mailchimp, Zapier), donor data may be shared with those services under your control.

6.3 Compliance

We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable global privacy regulations.

7. Intellectual Property

All software, trademarks, and content related to SquareDonations are owned by Greengo Development Ltd. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use SquareDonations in accordance with these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • SquareDonations is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
  • Greengo Development Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or donations.
  • Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total fees you paid to SquareDonations in the 12 months preceding any claim.
  • Payments are non-refundable under all circumstances.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of London, UK.

11. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy make up the full agreement.
  • Severability: If one provision is invalid, the rest remain enforceable.
  • No Waiver: Failure to enforce rights does not waive them.
  • Assignment: You cannot assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them freely.
  • Headings: For convenience only, no legal effect.
